Tired of the faded, scratched appearance of their concrete driveway, a homeowner in Widley contacted Jurassic Home Solutions in August 2024. They wanted a more inviting and durable entrance, so they asked us to install a stylish resin driveway to completely transform the look of their home.

Initial Consultation and Planning

We started with a consultation to understand their goals and style preferences, followed by a thorough survey of the driveway area. They wanted a smooth, seamless resin surface to replace both the concrete driveway and the gravel in the front garden, so we recommended fully excavating the old materials to prepare for the transformation.

Excavation and Preparation

We began preparing the site in August 2024, carefully excavating a 98.5 m² area up to the front of the house and garage door. We took extra care to protect the existing flowerbed and the wall separating the property from the neighbour's land. This work took us just one day.

Laying the Resin and Blockwork

Once the groundwork was finished, we returned soon after to install a charcoal brick border between the resin and the pavement. This added a clear distinction between the private property and public space and provided clean separation around the flowerbeds and walls.

Next, we applied the resin. The homeowner selected the Richmond colour, a lovely mix of pearl quartz gravel with larger green and grey stones that perfectly complemented the light colour of the house walls.

Completion and Final Reveal
