A Beautiful New Driveway
Our specialist team completed a beautiful new driveway in the Torquay area. It was a total overlay job with an area of 189m2.
The work was carried out on 15th August 2024. The job was completed the same day by a three-man team.
The homeowner selected the classic colour of Farmhouse Gold, which complemented the rural property and tranquil setting. In addition, we implemented charcoal edging adding timeless style to the new driveway.
The new resin driveway surface replaced old tarmac. Since it was an overlay job, our crew carried out full preparation of the previous surface. We removed debris and cleaned the area, before laying down a crack resistant membrane.
The biggest challenge of the job was delivering the new resin driveway materials to the remote Torquay location. Normally, one lorry would deliver the load to the property. However, our planning and driving team discovered that the roads leading to the house were too narrow to accommodate the lorry. Instead, we used two vans to transport the driveway materials, overcoming the access challenge. This was done at no extra cost to the client.
The homeowner was delighted with their striking new driveway. They appreciated the hard work our team put into the job, completing the driveway project in one day.
